Completion of this tutorial is a required part of an institution's initial or renewal of accreditation process. At least one key member from an institution must complete this tutorial prior to preparing the institution's Self-Evaluation Report. Completing this tutorial qualifies a person to be an "Accreditation Compliance Officer" — a term used to describe a person knowledgeable in the DEAC's accreditation process and its standards, policies and procedures.
